With 116,521 miles. It has lived a good life. And while there may be a collector that would want to take it on, I believe, because of its history of loving care, it would be better valued for the “hard to find” parts that it harbors.
I bought it from the owner/mechanic of a local high-end import repair shop in 2004 with 91,121 miles. He bought it in 2000 with 63,900 miles and was constantly upgrading, as it was his personal vehicle for the next four years. Specifically: Upgraded Fuel Pump; Brakes And Shocks; Valve Job; A/C Evaporator Core; New Headliner And Leather Seats; New Carpet And Mats; Front And Rear Wheel Bearings.
Since 2004 the following items have been replaced: A/C Compressor & Receiver Dryer; L/R Wheel Bearing Kit; Rear Wheel Speed Sensor; R/R Half Shaft U-Joints; Nitrogen Sphere/Accumulator; Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor Switch; Fan Assembly; Fan Control Relay Module; Fan Relay; Alternator; Harmonic Balancer; EMS Relay; ERG Valve; ERG Gasket; Heated Element Breather Hose; Fuel Pump Module; Crank Shaft Position Sensor; Upper Strut Mount; Windshield Jet; Upper Ball Joint; L&R Upper Control Arm Bushings; Trunk Latch; Trunk Latch Actuator; Fuel Door Filler Neck Boot; Rear Axle Universal Joint; Expansion Tank; Valve Cover Gasket. Also, I have the following parts that were never installed: Front Disk Brake Rotor; Rear Disk Brake Rotor; Rear Premium Non Asbestos Pads; Front Premium Non Asbestos Pads; Total Rear Body Pan; Radiator Support and a New Front-End Clip.
